ICMASS - International Conference on Maritime Autonomous Ships

About ICMASS

The International Conference on Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships (ICMASS) is the only scientific-technical conference dedicated to autonomous merchant ship research and development. It invites both scientific papers with a formal peer review before acceptance as well as technical papers and/or presentations on the practical aspects of designing, testing and operating autonomous ships.

ICMASS is normally held once a year in different locations around the world. Every second year it is arranged together with the International Maritime and Port Technology and Development Conference (MTEC), alternating between Trondheim, Norway and Singapore. In between, the conference is moving between different international locations.

From 2025 we will also arrange an additional annual ICMASS Symposium as a more industrial oriented and application targeted event. We expect this to be a more presentiaion/discussion oriented event, but we will also accept reviewed proceeding papers for the symposium. They will be published in the main ICMASS conference proceedings.
